Maybe they should go "fake old"

I would have liked it if one of them did a tribute to Vernon's first mask after he switched from the helmet and cage design.

I've also always liked the style of the mask on the side of the Saddledome.

Something like that on the modern style mask would look good too, I believe.

Pretty basic (once you get past all of glittery gimmicks), but works well with the home retro color scheme. Mike Smith's Vernon Tribute (CCM/Cooper Combo) from last year would have been the best, but no complaints from me.

The sports bars in Regina on Friday night should be interesting with the Stamps vs. Bombers.

I was thinking the same thing when I realized on Saturday who and when the Stamps played next. Definitely interesting.

Lol. I’d recommend wearing a Kevlar vest at the best of times in Regina on a Friday night. This might call for full riot gear.

I totally forgot that Flames are playing Jets so there will be a bunch of Bomber fans in town too. It’ll be really weird with Rider fans cheering on Bombers with so many Bomber fans around. You’ll be outnumbered that’s for sure!

I’m sure it’ll be fine. Just avoid the area directly north of mosaic. And the north end. And downtown after dark. You know what? Maybe just watch the game from your hotel.

He's going to be surrounded by Bombers fans man, not Riders fans.

I think I'll fire up the old Genesis this weekend and try to make Wayne Gretzky bleed (although I think this can only happen on NHLPA '93)
