My favourite was the guy who said it didn’t feel good to get Gibson’s
Gibson was outstanding, but just got beaten twice, while Talbot got beaten once. The first one he lost a bit of focus and Talbot never did (at least that I saw, and definitely not in a costly way). Old fashioned goaltenders’ duel
Monahan has struggled with minor injuries over the course of an 82 game season (the infamous four surgeries after 2017/18 comes to mind). However, I think he stayed fairly healthy last year so hopefully he has the confidence to play a heavier game out there knowing he can still stay healthy enough to contribute offensively.
