Scoreless first, I'll take it. Someone build a Gibson voodoo doll over the period break.

Not a terrible period. Back and forth.

Pretty decent period overall, and we didn't get scored on. Baby steps.

Also scored Quine a bit last year.

Tied after the first and the Flames usually suck in the first.
I'll take it

I will rewind and re-watch the anthem instead of listening to Francis

Solid bit of work in that first period.
I’m a bit worried that thanks to playing last night, the Flames won’t be able to keep pace with the Ducks as the night goes along.
Good to see the chances generated.
Talbot with a solid first.

I want to see:
Gaudreau-Monahan-Lindholm
Bennett-Backlund-Tkachuk
Dube-Ryan-Mangiapane
Lucic-Quine-Frolik
When Everyone is healthy.

Gibson was showing again why he should be considered the best goalie in the entire NHL. I've never seen him give up an easy goal, and he regularly makes saves that he has no business making.

Comedy gold. It was like if there was an SNL sketch on doing a sports anthem

Are you seriously getting after him for not stopping that bouncing puck? He had actually held the zone three or four times that shift, IIRC.

Must have seen that it was Getzlaf and decided it was fine after all

Lucic, when being interviewed, reminds me of Jarome Iginla. Similar style in answering questions and same half smile too.
