Exactly, Im not sure he is anything more than a fringe 4th liner in the NHL any longer, but he is far from a problem right now compared to how this team is playing.
When your best players are literally being your worst players, you get what we are seeing tonight.

I would have been fine with a very big move, yes. They missed on the move they should have made in Mark Stone, but be that as it was, they still needed to do something major. At the very least Brodie and Frolik should have gotten moved. They did nothing but bring in a player who is regarded as one of the worst players/contracts in the league. I can’t believe how little criticism Treliving gets here

It will be a slightly reassuring consolation if the Flames can outshoot and outscore the Kings in the third. That's all we can hope for, at this point. How much they outscore the Kings, if they do at all, is up to them.

Well I think it would have been an over reaction to do a major shake up.
But I think managements approach is to give this core this year to show true progression.
If they don’t I anticipate major moves this summer
I’ve always thought next summer was the pivotal off season for this organization

Forget the first 2 periods and win the third. Build on something that you can take into tomorrow.

Brodie and Frolik were not the Flames worst players in the playoffs.
Their best players were. Were you ready to move them?

A couple goals tonight from Milan would help. But you are right, it is not the GM’s fault, it is the players fault, but not the 5.5 million dollar a year 4th liners fault.

It’s crazy how bipolar this team is. Totally dominant 2 nights ago and now they couldn’t fight their way out of a wet paper bag.

Yes that is what I said. At the very least Brodie and Frolik, especially since they were publicly involved in trades that didn’t get done and are now still sitting here. But ya, I would have been fine with anyone big getting moved as well. This team has consistently looked terrible in crunch time for years now. I’m not convinced this is the core to move forward with. That said, they didn’t absolutely have to move one of those guys but they needed to do more than trade James Neal for Milan Lucic

Reshuffle the lines because that's worked this year so far.
