[GT] Flames @ Kings

This Flames team is so confusing. They can't make a pass tonight, no possession. No shots, nothing, just... bad.


Rittich has an almost uncanny ability on breakaways and solo shots in tight, he just seems to have everything covered. But that's the only good thing I see tonight.

I'm just not convinced Peters has systemic answers this year - there's lots of people shuffling, but I don't see a "Flames Hockey" stamp, and .... didn't really last year either. What is the identity here?

Flames have had a pretty tough schedule to start the year, 5 non playoff teams and 4 playoff teams from last year. .500 is average for that level of competition. Other than the Kings the Flames are dominating ####ty teams. They just can’t beat good teams or great teams like the Kings.

Gaudreau, Monahan, Giordano, Tkachuk, Backlund, have all been inexcusably bad tonight.

Jankowski with weak clear on a PK, he has been the Flames worst player this year so far.

Brodie not moving his legs and just throwing his stick with one hand towards a puck hoping something will happen.

Biggest difference from last year so far

-Dump and chase works if you catch the 2 forwards with speed but this year they are always parked and have no momentum. This is letting other teams retrieve and breakout.

- PP entry is pathetic with too many 1 man show entries.
