Absolutely, but that's not a cocktail. That's a dram.

So what happens if Backlund is out? Does Lindholm move down and Tkachuck move up?
Gaudreau Monahan Tkachuk
Mangiapane Lindholm Frolik? (Goddammit, Bennett!)

If Backlund is out for any period of time, the Flames are going to need Ryan to get his act together. Or, maybe this could be an opportunity for Dube.
Still, not ideal circumstances by any means. You never, ever want to see someone get hurt.

Brodie got burned badly by Hayes. C'mon TJ, just take the body there.

Janko gets the promotion to the 3M line after Backlund goes down.

Big body forwards are not Brodie’s forte.

Ryan needs to get his game back. I was critical of him last year to start but he proved his worth down the stretch. A weak play on the last zone entry though which led to the Flyers breaking out with numbers. Which led to Hayes on Brodie.

Definitely think Dube gets a call if the worst case scenario happens, that being Backs out.

CGY needs to get out of back in mode. It’s a balance but too conservative. Play in their end a lot more.

If that’s a significant injury for Backlund, it might be time to see Lindholm at centre.
Gaudreau - Monahan - Mangiapane
Tkachuk - Lindholm - Frolik
Bennett - Ryan - Czarnik
Lucic - Jankowski - Reider

What is the Flyers logo anyways? I read it's supposed to be a P and a hockey puck, which I see, but the wings? I really dont see how those are wings. And why wings? For some reason I've always liked it though.

Yup. He got off to a horrendous start (was sick), and that was a big factor in the perceived lack of team depth. But he has been fantastic for the last three game, if brutally snake bitten.
A prolonged injury would be very, very bad
