Well at least for this year we all get to see the Packers choke it once again in the post season.

I dunno, probably the same it did for you all last season?
Is this what you resort to when you know you have nothing to stand on?

That challenge is not paying off for coaches. Unless it's blatent at full speed it is not getting overturned. That one would have stood as it was called. I find too many 5 yard penalties give automatic first downs. That should be looked at.

Came to say the same thing. And the ref was right beside those guys. At least in the cfl its because the refs are out of position

Just saw the highlights... Damn, glad I missed Monday Night Refball in favour of leftover turkey. That looked infuriating if you weren't a Packers fan.

Lions getting hosed is nothing new. Would be like complaining about oxygen at this point.

For anyone who clamours to have the refs in the NHL answer to the media after games just look up the quick interview the head ref from last nights game gave.
You are not going to get answers from the refs on any call if they have to talk to the media.

As if there was any doubt: Per http://NFLPenalties.com, Green Bay leads the NFL in “beneficiary yards” this season, which is when a team’s opponent is called for a penalty.
The Packers have accrued 501 yards through penalties.
Detroit, on the other hand, is dead last with 234 yards.
The only thing missing from last night was the usual 55 yard DPI call that the Packers get seemingly every game, particularly at Lambeau.

I'm not sure there's a conspiracy with the officials trying to aid the Packers but since they are playing the Raiders this weekend you can expect those beneficiary yards to balloon by at least 100 yards. I'm expecting at least two phantom pass interference calls and at least one roughing the passer for a clean hit on Rogers.

I'd be interested to see if "beneficiary yards" are greatest in favor of home teams.
Of course Cleveland is last in net yards.

Every team gets screwed over at some point. It does happen. It's happened to the Pack quite recently and yet next week we will all forget it. I think that with the angle of the official and Bakhtiari's head snapping back it looked like his hand was up in his chin or neck area (which is the penalty). It's tough with replay because you are getting such a different angle then what the official might be seeing. Am I happy that the Pack won, hell yes I am. Am I smart enough to think that they shouldn't have won, of course.
As for PI challenge. The league has come out to say that it's for egregious errors. Basically unless it's like the Saints/Rams of last year, it's not going to be over turned. My stance has always been that it should be looked at in live speed and if it doesn't scream egregious then it stands as called. No human eye can go down to the slo-mo aspect and should not be expected to.

I mean this is truly comical. The phantom penalty at the end of the game had two illegal use of hands to the face alright...
...but whatever. The level of incompetence is truly breathtaking at times. No easy solution other than 50 refs on the field or replay of everything. Maybe cut out some commercial time so more things can be repl....lol almost finished that one.

Jalen Ramsey traded to the Rams for two first round picks. Great haul for the Jags, feels desperate for the Rams.

This has to be one of the best trade returns in the history of the NFL for the Jags. This is such a massive overpayment for the Rams that I think it could be one of those franchise turning points to which they never recover. I think they should have ran the course this season as their problems are far deeper than swapping a good CB in Peters for a better one in Ramsey at the cost of no 1st round picks over the next two seasons.
