Flames are not playing like they can. I see another lopsided loss, then maybe, just maybe a gut check by the team.
Seems to be the way these guys start things, suck like the oilers usually do, and then pick up the play.

Cam Talbot...Not a good debut, not good at all.

The top PP unit is heavy loaded with all the players with offensive talents on it, but the PP entry actually is more to blame than the personnel I feel, since it's affecting both units.
I don't see other NHL teams having entry issues that the Flames do. I don't understand why the coaching staff is so insistent on running with it since it's clearly not working.

My boyfriend bought a bag of those mini Halloween Three Musketeers bars and I am eating them like a piglet. I am going to stop. This should make the Flames start to win, and prevent any more goals against.

Given how last year ended, I think this feels worse. So many questions were raised at the end of the year, and none of them seem to be addressed. So we came into the year expecting progress, but instead we’ve seen all the negatives of last season and not many of the positives.

What it sounds like is confirmation bias. If Lindholm makes the same play on PP you would think nothing of it because PP1 would get a dozen chances.
Much like you are harping on Kylington's play on the second goal against, your biases are overriding the reality that these are both extremely ordinary plays that happen all the time to everyone.

If the Wild continue to play like absolute garbage I could see Zucker being revisited. I think a trade like that could be a great catalyst for this Flames team... they honestly look limp.
That said, it's still early, and they honestly looked like the better team for much of that first period. The Sharks were just opportunistic. Flames get a couple bounces and we're looking at a very different game.
I think we'll see a much better second period.

Agreed. I’ve tried to be patient with the guy, but he’s basically playing himself out of the league at this rate. He’d be an ok 4th liner I guess at league min.
