This one deserves it's own category of awfulness:
Growing up in the '70s I got sacks full of those, and was actually excited to see candy corn because it was a huge upgrade from those hard, crap-tasting molasses kisses.

I love those Kisses - most people don't, so I get all of them.

When we lived in Lake Chap there was one house that gave out full toys - my daughter got a Barbie. I'm either Trusty Provider or Legend depending on the year. If the former, I make up for it with quantity.

Candy corn always gets lumped in with the ####ty/boring candy but it's one of my favorites. Those fudgy pumpkins this time of year that taste the same are great too. I don't get the hate.

I think they made one giant batch of those in 1979 and have been selling them ever since. I don't even know what a fresh one is supposed to be like.

I had one once. It was actually pretty soft and chewy. I had no idea as I always thought they were supposed to cut your mouth.

It totally did.... main floor was the stage / live bands (which were AWESOME, particularly the remake of Motorhead's Ace of Spades song), the top floor was a 90's video dance party, and the basement was a DJ / EDM floor.

It was outstanding. This was my fourth Sled Island Halloween party and it always delivers!

Only if you don't cross body block a co-worker in the hallway.
