Rittich has been bad

The goals are also the result of terrible decisions and turnovers. Vegas have been putting a lot of pressure on but there’s no excuse for hanifin horrible shot or jankowski’s giveaway in his own zone. They’ll be fine if they cut the obvious dead weight and bring in players with upside

Lucic is a bad player all around, a 4th line plug you put out there to keep the other team honest that's about it.

Wow...

Ok, I'll back down. I just don't see goaltending as the core reason the flames are down by 2 going into the 3rd.

Right because the forwards and defence have played stellar.

I agree with you. Rittich absolutely should have had that last goal but he is not the reason we’re losing.

So one guy thinks it's the goaltending. And for everyone else it's that Vegas's bottom six have well outplayed Calgary's bottom six.

Rittich had 4 great games and 1 bad one. I'll take that ratio TBH

Jankowski is too slow and passive for 4th line. He needs to work hard, or he will become press sitter real soon.

Flames haven't been sharp enough (see Tkachuk on Stone's goal, and Stone/Janko on Carrier's), but Rittich biffed on 2 initial shots he should have easily frozen (Nosek and Stone's goals).

Didn't love Stastny's, but it looks like he used Hamonic as a screen well and shot through his legs.

I hope the flames come back of course, but at this point, I'd just take one of our depth forwards getting a frigin goal/point to build off. Ugh.

The flames are driving lucic minutes much like they did with Neal to start the year last year.

It it working to about the same efficacy.

I hate watching a game in Vegas. Damn place is like a circus. It's embarrassing. I went to a game last year and I was so uncomfortable as a Canadian. Brutal.

It can be more than one thing...Goal tending needs to be better than tonight (and it has been)

2 soft goals is bad, I bet Rittich agrees and will say as much after the game
