Lindholm on right side for his PP goal. Benn turned over at blue line, just like Sam - these things happen.

Didn't see the whole game but what I saw was entertaining as hell.

Really big saves from Rittich. He has a lot of confidence and team likes playing in front of him.

Bad OT for the club, which is unusual. Monahan with 2 giveaways and Brodie with a brain lapse.

I noticed Mangiapane with some smart plays in the third to avoid turnovers.

What a move by Gaudreau.

I don’t know what game all the negative posters watched but I saw CGY battle hard all game, overcome some tough calls, never complain or get down and just fought hard. Too many on here get so down so fast and just wilt. Glad CGY has tremendously more mental strength than others.

Fantastic effort!

My daughter is going to be so pumped tomorrow. Her favorite player is Gaudreau and I took her to her first game against the Stars last spring. She has been waiting for revenge all summer.

I will say this, I think BT knows what he wanted to do in the summer and last trade deadline, and didn’t get it done. With the window open for a couple years, he doesn’t wait too long to jettison the guys that were already on the block, especially as their value will drop. Usually he’s waited until nearer the trade deadline, but I think he pulls the trigger on something, even if small to move out a Frolik who isn’t in Peters good books, of Jankowski who could be playing in Minnesota or Toronto right now, as soon as he can, and his patience won’t be quite as long as it has been.

It's a good, good sign to see the team fight their way to a winning record early despite not having found their groove yet. They are struggling for long stretches but still keeps fighting and manages to put points on the board. I'm looking forward to the first dominating win of the season, but this kind of start is not a bad thing at all.

The Flames did not "steal" a point. They earned it. This was a really exciting, tight checking game featuring two very good teams, and it showed. The Flames deserve tonnes of credit for fighting back from a 2-0 deficit to win in a building they have had not success in since 2016.

The fourth line was pedestrian. The third line was solid.

I have honestly barely notice his absence.

No. Ryan has looked only okay, and so far Bennett and Lucic are doing their jobs. I thought they looked quite good on the forecheck tonight.

This cannot possibly be a serious question. Tonight was GAME #4.

I'm bummed out about Bennett. Brodie was sketchy at first but overall had a good game. Gio leaves it all on the ice I worry about him getting hurt.

The Scape Goat Shame Boat:

Brodie had an effective night, made a great back check on Heiskanen (maybe?) and no blow ups. Quiet but simple.

Bennett was meh, bad penalty, toe drag fail but generated a good scoring chance in the 3rd. Nothing to rave about.

Frolik was mostly invisible, which given recent outings isnt the worst thing.

Jankowski had a few solid passes and (might be mis remembering) hit a crossbar on the backhand. Weak PK play led to a goal against.

Mangiapane looked good on that second line.
