Yikes. Ugly shift by the Flames there.

No matter what happens, this is a real fun game to watch. Stars have some players like Hintz and Heiskanen doing exciting stuff every shift and the Flames tying goal was a beauty.

Peters giving Bennett another chance here after he got just a minute of icetime in period 2.

Yup. Stars games are usually like watching paint dry.

He beat out an icing call then singlehandedly worked to clear the zone when nothing else was working. That’s a good shift for anyone.

If Radulov were an actor, he would be type-cast as a Russian terrorist

Yeah, I think he’s put together some solid shifts as well.
It’s a tight game.

This has been one of the worst games from Gaudreau I've seen. But all it takes is one shift from him. Hope it comes soon.

The Stars are a good team. Maybe that’s why it doesn’t really seem like the Flames are operating at full speed. The Flames just seem like they’re having the game taken to them with the occasional dangerous counter attack.

The forwards have been a mixed bag tonight, but I just have to say, I think every defenseman has had a really strong game tonight.
Dallas has really brought the energy and forecheck, and the defensemen have been up to the task at almost every turn. When they're not, Rittich has been very good to back them up.
That's really comforting to see early on. Offense will come, but you want to see good defensive habits early in the year. So far, so good.

Lindholm never touched the puck - how is it an intentional offside???

For sure. Despite their record, the Stars are a good team. Benn always scores against Calgary, Pavelski will find his groove and Bishop will be a Vezina finalist again. Tied with 2 mins left isn't a bad place to be

Lucic sucks but at least he's shown 100% hustle than the guy he was traded for. He just needs to go to the front of the net and let a few shots go in off his back or feet or something.

The first few minutes of the 2nd period, where the Stars had 2 PPs, they out-shot the Flames 6-0. Other than that, the game, the shots, and the scoring chances, are pretty even.

That would be a missed call.
No wonder Lindy was ticked.
