I can't believe how much range the remote has. Both my cousins who live downstairs bought a wii and now we have 3 in the house. It's so flipping annoying because everytime one of them would turn theirs on it would turn mine on as well. I had to go and unplug the power cable.
Any suggestions besides unplugging my wii?

Do you use the remotes with both Wii units? I assume that the Wii recognizes remotes that it's associated with. So maybe make yours forget the other remotes or something. What do I know though, I don't even have one!!

Hey I'm having troubles getting online..
My Wii recognizes my wireless connection (it connects after I put in my WEP key), but when I'm downloading the updates it keeps getting Error Code: 32004. Nintendo's website says something about changing the channel of my router to 1 or 11, but I can't seem to figure out how. I have Telus internet, if that helps.

Sorry.... just noticed.
Nickname: Shiney
And a note to all: Adding your wii # to this thread is useless without adding everyone else to your address book.

Re-synch your remotes to the Wiis, but if you dont want one recognized by the other just dont synch them to your wii. (If that makes sense)
To synch there is a red button on one of the inside panels of your wii, just hold that down and turn whichever remotes you want to use on right after and the wii will recognize them.

consolewatch is very slow. You only have roughly 30 seconds to buy them online once stock is put up. Consolewatch at least takes that long and sometimes up to 10 minutes.
Use check4change or c4c for short. I did up a little post showing how to use the program. You need firefox to use it though.
Here's the link showing how:

You can lower the c4c time if you'd like, however the chance of getting false alarms increases. Adjust accordingly.
You have to be real fast checking out.

If anyone is looking for a Wii, Toys R US on Macleod is selling "between 20 and 40" Saturday morning. They open at 9:00, but go early as there will be a line-up. This was told to me Tuesday by a clerk who works there, and from another clerk today as I bought the Rayman Raving Rabbid game. I managed to get a Wii at Superstore yesterday.
The system is a total riot. Everyone from my 4 year old kid to my 74 year old mother has played it and we've all had a blast. I can see Nintendo thumb being replaced by Nintendo shoulder as the latest trend in repetitive stress injuries.

In the Wii Menu there's a circular button with an envelope on it in the bottom right hand corner.

For those of you who Wii Online connected (I haven't got one yet) - from the old NES games you can download to Wii, is Baseball Stars available? This is a critical question in me deciding to buy one or not.
Seriously, one of the best games to get a season going with your buds...
