Without Rittich this game would be 5-0 for L.A. at this point.

In fact, without Rittich, I wonder if the Flames even get a win against Vancouver.

The rest of the team has been....dull to be kind. Mostly awful so far this year is probably more accurate.

Brutal period of hockey. Flames not remotely ready for this game, which is pathetic for a professional hockey team on two days rest three games into the season.

BSD has kept them in it, but also let in a complete stinker.

Flames need to pull their collective heads from their asses or this will be an embarrassing loss to a bottom feeder.

Welp....that was as ugly a period as they have played since Gulutzan days, so i now conjur upon the mighty strength of the turtle to get things turned around.

Backlund wanted no part of that dump in. Barely touched his guy and Kings easily moved it out. Kings go to the other end and take it to that line as well for the next 30 seconds.
Janko and Backlund as our 2 and 3c is not the long term solution.

The Flames turn it on in the 2nd, dominate the period but come out down 3-1 as they can’t catch a break. Come out strong in the third but can’t do anything, lose 4-1 after an empty netter.

Maybe an ass kicking at home is exactly what is needed to wake up most of this group.

The forwards have been a joke so far this season. It's shocking to think that forward depth was considered a strength of the team.

I really hope the lack of roster turn over and new blood isn't going to bite treliving this year. on a team that showed they aren't close to being a group that can win anything of substance, yet management decided that maybe that's good enough.
