Human nature right? The smart thing to do is let it go upstairs and use the assistance available. But we humans always wanna be right.

We still need refs and linesmen to make the calls. How many times a game are we going to revert to video if the smart thing is to go upstairs? They should make the calls as they see them and have video correct egregious errors.

I wouldnt let go of poch

Today was a throwaway, team was shell shocked after what happened to lloris

Bayern & hove albion were with them in possesion and shots etc. Outside a little push back to open 2nd half spurs couldnt create anything

Which even in this bad run of form, spurs have generally been ahead of against non bayern or city teams in terms of controlling the game, just making too many dumb mistakes

But I do think this international window comes at a perfect time, and if something isnt turned around by the next one, I'd imagine hes gone

The reason I said the league was over after City lost to Norwich wasn't that specific result, but the fact City had to rely on Otamendi for a few months. He's having another absolute shocker and City are lucky to not be 2-0 down.

Great game from Wolves, deserve to win. CL or bust for City now.

think this is Guardiolas final season at City. Always seems to lose a bit of fire after 3-4 years.

*Benning.jpg* there's two Longstaffs?!

EDIT: and something else entirely: there's been 8 league games and Phil Foden has played 10 ####ing minutes all season. What a joke.

good for Newcastle and the younger Longstaff. United thoroughly deserve this.

Have Liverpool fans ever had it better? They’re going to win the league and United are in a relegation fight.

Been following United since Dave Sexton. This is by quite a distance the worst team I've ever seen.

I dont know, theres still a lot of games left to play and I really dont care about United's fortunes so long as they dont affect Liverpool's.

Lots of games left to play, City could crumble just as easily as not lose another game all season. Liverpool are going to drop points eventually as well.

Personally I'm still thrilled about last season's Champion's League win!

There is lots of potential for Liverpool this season though, it'll be interesting to see if they ride their horses all year long or if they see enough benefit to buying some players to put them over the top during the Winter window.

Saw a stat that since Ole got the job permanently United have 17 league points while in the same stretch Liverpool have 17 league wins. Just staggering the gap between the two clubs at the moment.

United enjoyed a lot of possession to failed to create any clear cut chances and left empty handed, with pressure mounting on troubled Solskjaer.

"It is not acceptable, not just this game but the whole season. It is the most difficult time since I have been here. I don't know what is happening. We cannot even score one goal in two games," De Gea told the BBC after the match.

Hey, considering United had 3 shots on target in 2 games and still managed a single point out of 6, thats not bad.

I’ve been a Liverpool fan long enough to know that the only time being 8 points up is good enough is if there’s only 2 games left in the season.

Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris is unlikely to play again this year after scans showed he suffered damaged ligaments in his left elbow during the 3-0 defeat to Brighton in the Premier League, Didier Deschamps said.

"I am not a doctor but I know that he will not be with us during this international break or the next one in November for sure. He will start a protocol now for his rehabilitation.

"But he will be out for a few weeks and a few months. He won't play again in 2019 that is almost a certitude."
