tatoo shop recommendation
So I think I'm having the old midlife crisis, my birthday is Friday and I think I want to get a tattoo done because I'm feeling old.
I live in the SE, any recommendations for a place to go, I've already picked a design.

If you have some time, I'd search around your area for tattoo shops but more specifically, the artists that work there. If you have your design then find someone who does something kind of similar.
For example, I have a super basic one and the main part is a circle, so i found someone who was really good at circles. Tattoo Artist is more important than the shop itself.

What are you looking to get? My brother in law is an apprentice at Ascending Koi (Cow House)

John is also a great tattoo artist there (Parkland area). I got my first one done there, and have a booking with Saga next year for a calf piece

Some word of advice, if you are going to get a tattoo in a language that you are not well versed with (Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, Arabic, whatever), make sure you get multiple people whose mother tongue is in that language to verify them for correctness. I've seen so many tattoos that are poorly translated...
