He’s shown glimpses but in the games I’ve watched he has been on the ice for pretty much every goal against. Needs a full year in Stockton I think

Strong on the boards, around the net, and has made a few nice short passes.

I’m excited to see him once the season really gets going.

Gillies has the tools. Just needs a sharp focus. Hopefully he learns how to keep focus strong consistently

Agree. Time to move on. Another good goaltending prospect goes by the wayside for this team. When does this problem become a point of examination?

I have to disagree.

He was excellent in the first, dealing with a couple one on ones with ease, and angling attackers expertly.

He made one bad offensive foray that he couldn't get back to his net after, but Gillies could have made a save as well.

The last goal is all Gillies. No excuse for letting that one in.

I do think Yelesin will be in the AHL to start the year, but he's not far off. Probably the first call up in case of injury.

Yelesin with a rough last half of that period. Looked like he was out of position and/or fishing with his stick on 2 goals against. Good up until that point.

Pospisil with a couple beauty passes that period too.
