Flyers sign Provorov to 6 year deal ($6.75 mil AAV)

Sounds like PHI and RFA D Ivan Provorov have agreed to terms on a six year contract.

AAV expected to be just under $7M for Provorov.

RFAs folding like cheap tents. No player wants to miss camp. Even fewer want to miss regular season games. I'm hoping Tchucky's competitive instincts outweigh his desire to get the best contract.

Nice to see some sanity returning, the market seems to be correcting itself as the cap space dwindles. Some of these hold outs may have been better off taking the offers they turned down (Marner, Boeser).

That leaves about 6M for Konecny, who should come in under that. Philly is going to have some cash left over, and have a pretty competitive team.
