Yandex streaming all NHL games for free in Russia
https://www.engadget.com/2019/09/05/...s-free-russia/
Very interesting that Russians will now have better access to streaming NHL than the rest of Europe and all of North America. And for free, to boot...
This news doesn't make me all that happy about the charge on credit card for my blackout affected (when games are on the NHL Network) Gamecenter Live.

Interesting, could this be accessed with a VPN?

Youtube? I think you mean reddit
Youtube streams get shut down almost immediately unless kept private.

Sure, connect to a VPN controlled by Russians. What could go wrong?

Bow down before your masters- Bell, Rogers and Shaw. Beg at their feet like a dog,pay the ransom they demand and you may get to watch a whole lot of crap channels that nobody really wants...

Games are reported to have Russians doing the play - by-play. I assume, VPN could work,as long, as you are ok with that.

If it helps to make you feel better, this means that the Russians have more or less given up on trying to make KHL a real rival to NHL and have succumbed into buying the better product instead. Few people are going to bother with KHL now that you can have NHL for free. It's a huge win for the NHL.
