Kyrgios has all the tools but no toolbox. A wasted talent that can't get out of his own way.

It really is wide open for him. Such a great win after starting so poorly in the first set too. Perhaps his injury problems are finally behind him and we are seeing what he can do again.
I haven't seen him swinging so well since the 2014 season.

Rain in NY so you have no choice but to watch Nishikori on Armstrong.

Dimitrov gets a walkover win over Coric as Borna has withdrawn with a lower back strain. That's too bad, I was looking forward to watching that match tonight.

Kyrgios last night called the ATP corrupt and is in real serious trouble with his removal from the US Open an option. He just posted this tweet to clarify his statement but I would say this story is still not done...

As far as records go, I wonder if we're in "most 5 set matches in a round of a major" territory here. There were a whole bunch.

They could suspend him, but he does put butts in seats ergo he will likely not get kicked out of the US Open.

I suppose we should just go ahead and skip the next 10 days and get to the inevitable Nadal-Novak final. Roger looks abysmal so far in this tournament.

I'm not watching, but he appears to be playing better in set 2 (or maybe Dzumhur is fading badly).

Also, aren't the majors actually ITF events? Not that that likely matters.

Fed joins Girly's favourite player in the 3rd round (needed four sets to do it).

He looks to be in a bad way, luckily his opponent is helping him out by playing bad. I can see him winning this tho, I mean it's Djokovic, I assume he will find a way.
