If I am not mistaken Rychel was the last asset the Flames had left from the Erixon trade to the Rangers.

Of the 5 RFAs the Flames did not qualify on June 25, Lazar (Sabres), McDonald (Colorado Eagles), and Rychel (Sweden) have found jobs so far.

Pollock and Healey have yet to sign with a team.

Hmm IIRC it was Erixon for Horak and two 2nds (great trade!) The 2nds were Granlund and Witherspoon. Horak was dealt for Smid. Grankund was dealt fit Shinkaruk. Shinkaruk for Rychel.

Rychel was acquired for Shinkaruk who was acquired for Markus Granlund who was drafted by the Flames with a 2011 pick.

That would be Andrew Nielsen, who was acquired in exchange for Klimchuk (Hanowski and Agostino were both cut loose with no return).

Well Rychel's Orebro stint is over. He asked to be released from his contract for personal reasons and the team granted his request.

I don't think there is such a place really, but if there is, Vänersborg would be a good candidate. Which coincidentally is where Victor Fasth played for a few seasons early in his career. Victor Fasth is no good.
