Alek Manoah pitches tomorrow night for Vancouver. Would love to be able to watch that.

I guess I just feel like Bo and Vlad are such potent weapons that putting one of the many boat anchors in the lineup between them just limits their offensive potential. I would be happy to have Bichette in the lead off spot if a guy like Brantley, Devers or Judge was in the on deck circle.

The defensive metrics this year say that Tellez has better range than Smoak. That is likely because Smoak is a statue even when "running" so it makes sense.

If Biggio hit for a higher average, we could swap him and Bichette - he's definitely got the eye for the leadoff role. But right now, Biggio is none of a 1, 2 or 5 hitter at the Major League Level. He's where he is because of lack of options.

3 hits, 1 walk, 0 runs, 8 Ks through 4 innings

He's been hitting 97-98 MPH with his fastball too

He's a monster.

Pearson crushing 3 levels this year including AAA
Woods Richardson lighting up A+ as one of the youngest at the level
Manoah off to great start in short season ball
Kloffenstein also performing well in Vancouver

Thats a solid stable of power arms.

Kendall Williams is pitching well in the GCL with the baby Jays as well!

I wish we were in the National League at times. Their top teams while having great records are nowhere near on the level of the top AL teams and there’s quite a history of that.

Jesus anyways. I know it's hard but just take the long single instead of giving Acuna the free outfield assist for the rest of the series...

JD being back and seeing him doing so well sure is bitter sweet.

Here is his OPS numbers the last bunch of years

.939
.953
.944
.757 (jays window to trade him in 2018)
.920 (after being traded to Cleveland)
.910

That is some #### luck I tell you. Sure hope Merryweather turns into something. What a piss off lol. Just a dominant hitter except for the injury plagued partial season where the Jay's were looking to trade him.

Ya that Donaldson trade was/is still a complete failure.

Anyways Vladdy Jr just knocked in a run it's 5-4 Braves now.

Well Biggio must have been hearing the criticism because he has been a lot better since coming back from Seattle.

Bucholz has been surprisingly good as well.

Nice start from Buchholz, hopefully the bullpen doesn't mess it up now.

Nice outing Mayza.

Come in and walk your only batter on 5 pitches.

Maybe these idiots could walk a few more batters.

Feels good to watch Biggio break out of his slump.
