Russic saves man from Wolf! UPD: Awarded Medal of Bravery from Governor General!
Obviously, this needs to be a thread here. Our very own russic saved a man from a wolf attack. Insane, but amazing story. Well done!!

Russic isnt the Hero we deserve, he was just the Hero we need right now.
Well....the one that guy needed. Unless you're on team Wolf and then nobody can help you.
Seriously though, way to get in there Russ!

I don't think I've ever heard of a wolf doing this.
When I'm camping in the bush, I worry about bears and have bear spray in the tent, but I've never even given wolves a second thought.
Just need to find a can of wolf spray I guess.

Grond they named it, in memory of the Hammer of the Underworld of old. Great beasts drew it, orcs surrounded it, and behind walked mountain-trolls to wield it."

Russic is now more legendary than the original Grond.

Awesome story! I'm surprised there wasn't a pack of them.
I still want to know how Russia saves man from wolf though.

Wow Russic! What an insane situation! How often does something like a wolf attack even happen?

Looks like a couple a year in North America. You are more likely to be injured by an escooter than a wolf.

It's amazing Russic moved so quickly with his huge gigantic balls.

Holy crap, from that Wiki link...
Quote:
Ms. Wanamaker was walking along the highway and saw a big white lone wolf twenty yards away. She ran after it began to charge her. The wolf inflicted puncture wounds in both legs and a laceration in one. Wanamaker was able to take shelter in an outhouse until the wolf left. She made her way to another outhouse and awakened campers sleeping nearby, who assisted her. Wolf biologist Mark McNay speculated that human-habituation and the wolf's young age were key factors in the attack. The wolf was not captured. Wanamaker was medicated for potential exposure to rabies.

Wow, crazy story. And awesome bravery from the man (who had thrown himself between the wolf and his family) and Russic to help save him! Both heroes.
