I loved the idea of a big waterpark, but that is likely not in the realm of feasibility.
As such, I am firmly team demolish and make use of that land in the context of the function of Stampede Park.
The building is actually awful. It's ugly and hostile to its surroundings. The only redeeming quality is an interesting roofline. But there will be a new skyline view created through the new arena, convention centre and other development around it, that will end up being far more interesting than a building in a sea of parking as is today.
It badly needs to come down, make way for something more modern and with the times. It is starting to remind me of Rexall Place with it being so old and outdated. And that's not a good thing.
I'm with Bunk, a big waterpark would be amazing!

If you're going to do the ball pit thing then you need to get one of those big claw machines hanging from the jumbotron and charge the parents $5 a try to get their kid back.
Depending on the kid, you might want to charge a deposit.

Unfortunately, I don't think it has the location or shape to be reused like the Montreal Forum. I feel like that building is a pretty nice way of maintaining the history but making the building a useful space going forward.
Scratch that, just realized that other than the movie theatre, pretty much everything, including the SAQ, has left the Forum. Alas.
