Speaking of Nadal and Rogers Coupe here is a little Throwback Thursday. 19 year old Nadal won his 9th title of 2005 and his first career title off clay by defeating legend Andre Agassi in Montreal. With 4 career titles, Rogers Cup is his most successful tournament outside the red clay.

Not a great start for Felix as Cilic breaks him in the opening service game. Two service games in for FAA and already three double faults on the stat sheet.
Cilic takes the opening set 6-3 breaking Felix's serve at love. Neither guy is playing particularly well, Cilic is just making less mistakes than FAA at the moment.
Milos also lost in straight sets today and had to call the trainer for his back so in summary it was a crappy day of tennis for our Canadian lads in DC.

Felix and Pops are playing doubles at the Rogers Cup lol
Milo's and Vasek should play doubles again, I think they would have a really good shot at winning Olympic Gold. I remember when they beat the Nadal & Djokovic super team.
Changes to the men's draw due to Kevin Anderson pulling out of the tourney - Milos will now play Lucas Pouille instead of Taylor Fritz and if he beats Pouille would face the winner of Felix and Vasek.
Kyrgios is your champion in DC taking the match in straight sets 7-6 7-6 Tsitsipas yesterday and Medvedev today, those are two quality wins over top 10 players.
