It's a long season -- I have no issue with getting the new/young guys some game reps, even if its at the expense of some W's. Hopefully he'll be back and ready to go around playoff time -- adding him and Jorden could really change the dynamics of our offence come October/November.

Danny Austin is saying that Brescasin needs surgery, so although he's initially being put on the 6 game list, his season might be over. Ka'Deem Carey is not going on the 6 game list, however.

I know this is football, but at som point to the Stamps start looking at their training staff? This is unreal and persistent year over year.

I read on the stamps forum that Carey has a history of being very fragile. It could be a mix of a really poor training staff and perhaps Huff is taking risks on players who have high upside but high injury risk?

I would tend to believe the Stamps strength and conditioning staff/programs are amongst the worst in the league. When you have this many players on the IR year after year after year it's not bad luck.

So weird. Zach is a good hit away from being the guy that can count to Potato. Someone needed to tell him that its time to stop, not give him another shot at starting for a team with an awful oline.

Not a surprise.
Bridge was a nice story he had a nice set of games for the Riders, but he's just not a pro level QB, and at 27 not really worth wasting development time on.
Canada just doesn't do a good job in terms of QB development.

Remember when the Als were good and they would keep finding players that played at a high level? I'm beginning to get the feeling Popp was either very, very lucky or that he had scouts working under him that were propping him up. This trade is what you get from a GM that can't unearth talent. All his moves in Toronto have been via free agency or trade. Anyone can write a checks to guys like Walker and Rainey. He's signed Franklin last year, tried to overpay Bo, and now trades for a guy that's a hit away from ending his career. Horrible GM.

Bo is ready to throw...
The CFL's Most Outstanding Player and Grey Cup MVP in 2018 hasn't played since injuring the pectoral muscle in his throwing arm on June 29.
He was placed on Calgary's six-game injured list the following week.
"Everything is kind of healed up," Mitchell said Wednesday. "I'll start throwing Friday.
"Take it slow in practice and see how I feel. Depending on how everything goes down these next couple weeks, should be ready to go."
Mitchell says he's targeting an Aug. 17 return when Calgary hosts the Montreal Alouettes.

Geez, the Argos are bad - Offense, defense, special teams, tackling. It all stinks.

Every single time Branden Burks makes a play, the Argos take a penalty. Brutal.

Rod Smith calls a Rod Smith touchdown. Nice TD drive by the Argos.

Well it was 20-0 Bombers and now it's 20-13. I think the Argos should have went for it on 3rd and 1 deep in Winnipeg territory, though.

Awful officiating as usual. How do you miss a hit to the head when you're 5 yards from it?
