Essentially takes them god awful sight lines in Edmonton and mocks them for eternity. All while keeping that C of Red feel and minimizes the size of the arena while still having the 19k capacity. Makes sense? Add a ton of tech in there and boom. Entertainment center of Alberta.
EDIT: I think this is the direction theyre taking. All those earlier renderings in this thread had the Rosetti watermark on them.

Any guesses as to when the new arena will open?
The info graphic says construction begins in 2021 and estimates 3 years to completion. So MAYBE ready for the 2024-25 season? Or it could be the 25-26 season if there are delays, or perhaps a season where part is played in the Dome and part is played in the new arena I guess.

I guess someone has to be that guy...so here's the thing. The "financials" are pretty hollow for this "great deal". Like to the point where a couple posters here have touched on NPV/TVM and in their work-up it's just plain ignored. Why is this such a rush to get rammed through all of a sudden?
Frankly, I'm rather surprised that everyone here is completely onside. This proposal/agreement is pathetic in financial detail and I tend to think that's kind of a big deal.
