This show does a great job with its characters, old and new. It’s the best part.

It’s nice to anticipate something and not have it disappoint.

Great show and really enjoyed it. There were many times through the show where I was taken back to being a kid and seeing things like the stores, fashion and just other little things that I did as a kid. It made me feel more nostalgic then any other show that I can think of.
Also so many times I just kept thinking, damn they don't have the internet. That would make it so much easier. They had to do things like we did back then.

Also really enjoyed the use of Alan Silvestri's Back to the Future theme in episode 7 when Dustin is talking to Mike on the walkie. That was perfectly done.

I thought this season was a lot of fun. Brett Gelman was great as Murray and I love how Dustin screwed with him.

Finished last night and loved it, my favorite season. Robin was great, Billy was really well done too. So much awesome 80's stuff too love.

Just finished last night. That was an amazingly fun season. My wife and I have been craving a good show to watch for a while, so that hit the spot.

I absolutely loved the nostalgia of this show. Being an 80s kid, it hits every point. There is so much detail everything they put in the show, from the costumes, music (which I was loving), to the references. Someone mentioned about about the Back to the Future homage, and I agree, spot on, and you wouldn't know it unless you gave it a bit of pause.

Some thoughts

- Billy's character was really well done. I loved his arc
- Loved the depth of Nancy's character too.
- Hopper's end was surprising, yet fitting, and my wife was enraged by that. lol. But the post-credit... maybe...?
- The Mind Flayer was absolutely disgusting (in a good way), and was shockingly gross. It reminded me of a combination of the Thing and the Blob. Going back to the 80s references, this fits perfectly with what they probably envisioned it to be, being that the Thing and the the Blob were 80s horrors
- So happy to see the Demi-Gorgon. That was a fun end. The end seemed so final pre credits, that you just knew there had to be something more.

Billy was one of my favourite parts of S2, one of the most lovable 'villains' on TV. His arc this season was very well done, and quite moving by the end.

I noticed Will was sort of left out in the cold this season. He had little do other than to complain about not being able to play D&D, and tell the rest when he senses the Mind Flayer nearby. I would've thought a kid who went through what he did in the Upside Down would be totally scarred, and I wish that had been explored even just a little bit this season. Instead his not liking girls was offered, almost in place of no other character development. It felt a bit out of place when every single other character was fleshed out immensely. Just to be clear, I'm not complaining (just observing) and I wonder if there's something big in store for him.

I really enjoyed S3. More-so than the second season, but not season one. The first season came out of nowhere and simply blew me away.

Have to agree with this as well. While I immensely loved season three, I could easily breeze through it. Season one though, I watched late at night alone in a dark house. I remember turning on the lights as I made my way to the bathroom being so creeped out by the intensity - which now thinking back was the best way to enjoy the series.

That really irked me too. I know that it was written to be a cute moment and all, but Dustin should run far away from a woman/girl like that.
