Wolf is pretty good in the drills this far. Decent mobility.

Hmm that is unfortunate, he got beaten all three shots that went upstairs. That gawdin shot was filthy but there is no way he could pull that move in game anyways. The other two that went in were troublesome though, especially that backhander, which would be a definite game shot he could face coming out of the corner. Also that was a very good backhand shot, anyone know who number 79 is? (Freeman? Never heard of him...)

He let in some weak shots in a summer camp drill, obvious bust.

Lol not at all what I said. But the knock against this guy is that he's too small to cover the top of the net against NHL caliber shots. The first video I saw he literally got beat on every shot that went up top.
Doesn't mean he's a bust but I am not sure how you can argue that was a strong video clip lol

You can't argue anything from a 30 second summer camp clip, I think that's the point.

David Rittich was terrible in his first development camp. I wouldn't put much stock in one video

This thread is literally filled with people doing exactly that or variations of the same.
Did I say anywhere in my post that Wolf wasn't good, was a bust, or didn't have a chance to play in the NHL?
No, I commented on a video where he didn't make a save on any shot that went above his elbow. I think that's a fair thing to note and wonder about when you're talking about a 5'9 goalie prospect who dominated the W then dropped like a rock in the draft.
Honestly, some of you are so fragile that you discourage even baseline commentary if it doesn't fit this perfect image you've created in your head. You'll know if I'm ####-posting about a player, follow along on any of the posts i make about brodie for examples. I hope that Wolf does turn into a great prospect, but that 30 second video clip did not make me feel confident about his ability to save NHL level shots headed for the top of the net. That's all.

Analyzing the clips is fun, I see nothing wrong with what he said.

Wolf is 18, playing for the first time against a bunch of close-to-NHL-ready peers, and he likely hasn't been in high-octane competition for a couple months
Goaltending is the position that deteriorates the most with long rest breaks. I think he'll be fine and maybe even get better as the camp progresses.

Mostly the development camp is going about as you would expect.
The returning guys that are notable have been good. No disappointments
The new guys are all seeming to be interesting Nodler looked good, Wolf was decent at times, let a few bad ones in. Not as bad as McDonald at his first camp. Needs to fill out a bit more. Will be a good prospect in a couple years. Not as polished as Parsons was his first time, but similar flashes of that upper end skill.
Walk ons are just there. No Hathaway or Jooris type stand outs thus far.
