He is also from Maine, so going to the east represents a chance to play closer to home. It was fun watching him grow as a hockey player here. He will be a fan favorite wherever he goes.

Potential right shooting RW UFAs that could play in the role Hathaway had here. Question is if they can be had for a price that fits Flames cap structure

No. Reaves contributes and is cheaper than Stone. CNt see why Vegas does anything like that

disappointed he's leaving; he really found an important role last year on the PK and energy line.
good for him though; the NHL is a tough league...needs to cash in if he can
