Janko and brodie for kadri would be fantastic. I'm really hoping that's true.

Ok then. Let’s load up on 3rd line centers then because they’re easier to acquire. Plus, you know, we have Monahan.

Neal and Brodie would be better, but unfortunately, neither is going to happen

I would be unhappy with this one.

I’d trade Gaudreau for Couturier. $2.4M cheaper and only a year older. Philadelphia probably adds too because they know Gaudreau will be a lock to extend there long term.

Philly has never given any indication that they will move Couturier.

I heard that the rights to Jari Kurri are available. Maybe Bennett and a pick?
Lebron went to a hockey game once. Could switch sports. Bennett to the Lakers?
I'm kind of hungry and could go for a burger. Five Guys take Bennetts?

(Sorry, but in every single rumour, Bennett is as good as gone)

I'm still imaging having to play against:

Tkachuk Kadri Bennett

I imagine that would be pretty high up on the list of thing players around the league wouldn't want to do.

I can't see any trade between the Flames and Leafs involving Kadri and/or Brodie. The Leafs need to save big cap space to keep Marner. The Flames aren't looking at adding cap space either.

It's possible to do a one for one, but I think both teams prefer to create cap space. This only happens if both teams make other deals to save cap space and get their big RFAs signed.

Can you work to confirm that?

I think it’s important to remember that while Comoodore likely has some kind of connection, he is often wrong and his posts should be taken with a grain of salt.

Thing is though they need at least one more dman...especially if they lose Zaitsev and only get Ceci back.

Otherwise they are rolling Ceci, Marincin and one of Justin Holl or Calle Rosen....every night and all night.

The top 3 would be Reilly, Muzzin and another youngster in Dermott.

That is not an NHL caliber defense core IMO.

Yeah...no question. This is him having some fun with what he thinks should happen as much as anything. Though he does know a lot of agents and scouts etc, so he certainly could be privy to info at times.

He's a real mixed bag.

I think he A) shares everything he hears and B) likes to troll.

That being said, he obviously knew firsthand that Neal was signing here.
He also broke the Fiala for Granlund trade at the deadline, 47 minutes before Bob McKenzie reported it 2nd.

So he has some legit sources for sure, but it's hard to filter through as you get the feeling he's trolling a lot too.

When it comes to "insider" stuff, there are people who simply repeat everything they hear and there are people who wait for numerous confirmations before they report anything at all. The first group are the ones you go to for the entertainment value of reading rumours and the second group are the ones you go to when you just want confirmation that something the first group said is true.

Commodore: First group.
McKenzie: Second group.
Francis: lol.

Not sure if it’s been posted here but Kypreos on Hockey Central said Zuccarello was going to Buffalo.
