Not the biggest guy but can't help but notice in the highlight pack from sureloss that he scores a lot of goals in the dirty areas and he has a solid 1 timer

Comparable to Marchand how? Does he have some sand paper to his game?

They could’ve taken Teravainen over Jankowski or Demko over Macdonald, which were the easy picks at the time. They’re not always right.
I don’t know enough to say whether I like the pick or not, but I don’t like the Flames’ history when they go off the board.

This kid is going to be a beast. Mark my words. We're going to be very happy with him.

Ive seen this kid play a few times this year at Wildcats games as I'm living in Moncton at the moment (dont judge me)
He was never the biggest name on the ice but he always caught my eye. Just knows where to be and the puck would always find him. Smart player who plays bigger than his size.

Very aggressive on the puck carrier.
He is very fast, and pressures very well.

Lots of points high IQ and high motor? I like it. A little bit of a surprise but I trust Brad.

One thing Treliving said months ago is that he has no problem taking smaller skilled forwards in the draft as long as they had drive and will.

The offense is great and all, but hearing he's got a high competitive level was what I wanted to hear. Going to be fun watching to see what he does next year.

Wanted Lavoie myself, but don't hate this pick either. Plays with intensity. Not very fast but smart and skilled 2 way player that's hard to play against. Marchand comparable, enough said

Sounds like there a few CPers living in Moncton who can keep an eye on him next year.
