interesting... Pronman's is mocking Brayden Tracey of Moose Jaw to the flames today.
the guys i was hoping for, Tomasino, Hoglander, Brink and Lavoie are gone at this point in his draft... Robertson would be another guy that i would be happy with... don't know much of Tracey, Pronman suggests skating is a bit of an issue for some teams though...

i wonder if the flames would considering moving up a couple of spots if there's a kid they really like...

Just a point of clarification, it wasn't Pronman picking Tracey it was Scott Cruickshank. It was a mock draft where they had a beat writer from each team do the picking.

If Tracey is the target I really hope that Treliving looks to trade back in the draft, because I think you can get him in the 2nd and pick up a 3rd or even a late 2nd.

I think if they had those offers, the deal would be done already.

Order of preferred guys ranked around our pick for me:
 Newhook
 Brink
 Suzuki
 Knight
 Lavoie
 Tomasino
 Hoglander
 Puistola
 Pelletier
 Robertson

Hoping one of the guys at the top of my list drop, but I don't see it as being likely

I’m starting to think we should draft Knight if he’s still available at 26. Especially since we don’t have a second rounder.
Need to draft a goalie in the second round every couple years IMO

Took me a minute to realize he wasn't making fun of that.

This would be a major coup if he pans out.

I'm hoping the Flames at least add another late 1st for Brodie...

I'm withering down to 1 of 3 players the Flames should take. 2 are deep pulls. Pavel Dorofeyev, Adam Beckman and the over ager, Brett Leason.

Dorofeyev I'm on board with. I see him as a late first but could be a steal there
Beckman I've got aggregated around 70. Don't know much about him. What do you like?

Most of Beckmans offensive production increased as the season went along and popped in the 2nd half. Hes a young pick, rookie season in the dub. He gets up to his competition levels pace in short order in every league he has played in. Hes fast, cerebral and has a quick shot in the videos I've managed to scrounge up.

I see a high, high ceiling for this guy.

Edit: https://thehockeywriters.com/adam-be...spect-profile/
This is one thing I read that gave me a little perspective and jumps my view of him higher than scouting reports. Hes not far off the production of top 15 projected pick Peyton Krebs.

My top 7 (realistically, as a guy like Suzuki isn't going to fall to 26)
 Hoglander
 Pelletier
 Robertson
 Leason
 Brink
 Rees
 McMichael

I'd frankly be fine with any them though.

As long as Foote isn't selected that's fine.

Just please don't let the oilers take Cozens. They already tainted Skinner a couple years ago. Leave the Canes players alone you garbage franchise.
