Milos with a nice win over Jo-Willy Tsonga in Stuttgart in three sets 6-4 6-7(5) 7-6(1). He did receive treatment in the first set for a back issue, but obviously was able to continue playing.

That's definitely not a good sign. Given the fact he's played two grueling matches already at this event after a lengthy layoff, he might just have needed a minor adjustment though.
Pretty encouraging win nonetheless as Tsonga is definitely starting to round back into form after some tough injuries last season and is always a tough out on grass.

Wawrinka isn't playing this year and I heard rumblings that Nadal isn't either (but I could be wrong on the latter). Based on that, I'd assume the following based more on this years performance:
team world: Nishikori, Schwartzman, Auger Aliassime, Del Potro, Raonic, Tiafoe
team Europe: Djokovic, Federer, Tsitsipas, Thiem, Medvedev, Zverev
That is actually not so bad, but obviously still leaves Europe as heavy favorites.

Milos next faces Fucsovics who upset the Georgian Basher earlier today - Fucsovics will not be an easy out, hopefully the big man will bring his 'A' game.

The Shapo-Bopanna duo roll on in Stuttgart as they take out Tsonga/Pouille in straight sets 6-4 6-3 and are into the semi-finals.

It's upset Thursday in Stuttgart as the top two seeds have been eliminated today:
Berrettini defeats #2 seed Khachanov 6-4 6-2
Dustin Brown dispatches top seed Alex Zverev 6-4 6-7(3) 6-3
Felix is up next facing Gilles Simon - Go Felix Go!

would you say that his performance at Wimbledon that year was...legendary?
and can the rest of Zverefraud's points drop off already? I'm sick of seeing him referred to as a top seed at any event, wasting the spot of an actual real contender. like you know, Felix who is actually taking care of business right now like a seasoned vet.

Man, Simon has a legitimate beef, Felix's serve was miles out, but called good and the umpire didn't overrule the call (Simon was out of challenges).
Felix takes the opening set 7-5

Felix slams the trunk emphatically with an ace and wins 7-5 6-4 over Simon. I couldn't see any ill effects from the groin injury that prevented FAA from playing in the French Open, so that's also great news.

Felix and Milos are on a crash course in Stuttgart as both are now a win away from facing each other in the semi-finals. Up next is Dustin Brown for Felix and Fucsovics for Raonic. - both winnable matches for each player.
This would be the first time Milos is truly an underdog in a match against the young Canadian contingent.

Felix takes the opening set in a tie-breaker (7-3 was the tie-breaker score). FAA serving up a storm (to be fair, so is Brown) along with some quality ground strokes.

Going to a third and deciding set as Brown takes the second set in a tie-breaker. Dustin pulled off some incredible shots in the tie-breaker to force a third set.

For me the most greatest female tennis player ever. She spent 377 weeks at #1 that's a year more than Serena which more than makes up for her winning 1 less Slam than Serena.

Brown serving for the match at 5-4 in set 3 and Felix plays some great tennis (and a little help for Brown) to get the break. We play on in Stuttgart.
