SIAP but seeing that O'Rielly goal from game 6 makes me sad about Gelly's game winner in 2004... if they had hi def and netcams, i think it would have been a goal...

It's crazy that a potential conn Smythe winner here was briefly a signed flame.
Given the way things turned out, and assuming the league didn't force the flames to waive him first, what do folks think about that offer sheet now??

I don't care about the first chance we had him I care about the second chance we had last season when the Blues picked him up.
So, so many "Losing follows this guy around/you'll never win with this guy on your team, pass!!!" comments on CP when the rumour came up.

The Flames didn’t really have a chance to add O’Reilly last summer. Sure, he was moved, but I don’t imagine that Calgary was ever in the running.
