Its bizarre. I've never seen such emotions from the higher ups.
Hopefully its not career ending and that's where the emotions are coming from.

Pretty sure it’s his ACL. Highly doubt he plays in either of the last two games. ABC broadcast showed durant walking out on crutches, with a boot on his foot.

Well I'm not a doctor so I can't infer that from a Twitter clip

OMG. Nurse called the timeout during that 10-0 run because he had an extra one and didn't want to waste it......

Looks more like a Achilles rupture from the video. Something popped in his back leg.

Well his right leg looked like Brad Pitt in Troy.

Myers is pretty young. Like 43. Men crying isn't as big of a deal as it was with the generation ahead of us.

Not a clutch effort at the end. That being said, I hope the Raptors can pull off 1 more win. It would be disappointing if they don't.
I was ready to celebrate but not today.. at least the longer this goes on, the closer we get to the NHL draft

Be interesting to see if Durant pushed the doctors or management pushed him into playing, or teammates did.
If he's done and can prove any sort of negligence or pressuring to play, he will make more in the lawsuit then he had on the last two contracts.

I'm pretty sure that's why Myers is crying. They totally effed him over.
When Kerr got asked that question he deferred to Myers ASAP during his presser.
But nice lying about his "mild ham string" injury.

He's a grown man, unless they doctored medical records what would his case be?

He looks and sounds sooo guilty though. I've never seen a GM/President act this way after an injuty on the court.

If it’s an Achilles tear I don’t think it’s career ending by any means. Cousins suffered the same injury a year ago. Probably out until the new year though.

I've seen much worse looking injuries...who knows but I think people are jumping to conclusions.
Guys get driven out of hockey rinks in ambulances with little reaction. Not making fun it just seems bizarre.
Guy left in a walking boot.

Game 5 was an incredible game. We lost but that was what the Finals are supposed to be about. Looking forward to the rest of the series.

Other than head injuries it can't get worse than tearing an achilles. But hey weren't you the guy who called him a faker?

Confirmed to be an Achilles injury - depending on the severity those can really alter careers.
So not like he just sprained an ankle or something.

I was out and didn't get to chime in with my $0.02 all game, but I found it the most frustrating game to watch this series. I don't blame Nick Nurse one bit this game at the end for calling the TO when things were going their way - they needed to settle down before taking stupid shots. At the end I don't blame him for not using a timeout as it had the Warriors unable to plan with the ball in Kawhi's hands. I simply blame the players for poor shot choices (all those 3's) when things weren't working. It's been their weak point for them all playoffs. They seem to make the clutch 3's which is great, but those first 2-3 quarters they just don't make them though they're set. So it's simply their fault for taking the easy way when there's a mismatch in the paint. By now it's apparent it's not their game to shoot tough 3's. They gotta use Siakam's reach and Gasol's size more effectively down low, and that's on them. Ibaka would be super effective if he didn't get overly excited and foul. Kawhi takes smart shots - sometimes misses but you can definitely live with his shot choices.
As for Durant's injury, frankly, I don't give a damn if the fan's boo'd. He was being aggressive towards our player, and as fans they should be giving it to him no matter what. It shouldn't be easy to play in a visiting teams' territory and the Raps players shouldn't have been buddy buddy with the settling the crowd down. It's hostile territory and unnecessary sportsmanship for something avoidable is part of the game. Durant is a competitor but far from a saint and you have to get under the opposing teams' skin. Forget the virtue signalling. If Marchand tore his achilles tendon I'm sure St. Louis fans would get on him as they should. That's my two cents and I stand by it.

Why most people thought the Raptors lost: Bad final possession
Why I thought the Raptors lost: That timeout when Toronto finally pulled ahead and the building was going nuts
Why the Raptors actually lost: Golden State got the luck on their 3 point shots and Toronto didn't - 48% vs 25% from 3 point range
The 3 point numbers regress to the mean next game and the Raptors will win easily
