			1. Just watch highlights/check the score because you can't watch unless it's live
2. Record and watch later because you can't miss the action

Need to settle an argument with a co-worker. Loser has to buy a Big Bacon Classic for the other.
Mods, can we get a poll?!

Record and watch later. Ignore the Fire on Ice section and any sports news. All of my friends know to check with me first if I've seen the game before texting any comments. My wife knows not to even breathe differently if she sees the score somewhere.

Just catch highlights or look at the score. Not that the Sabres have played an important game in almost a decade now.

Just watch highlights. Who has time to watch recorded games? I can barely watch them live.

Just watch highlights/check the score. No time for a full game.
It's be nice if they did more "games in 30 minutes" like they do with the Jays. But I honestly wouldn't watch many of those either.

I DVR all games I want to watch, so option 2.
This way I can get through entire games in ~90 minutes or less depending on how much I skip. No commercials, no intermissions, just game.

Depends on how important the game.
Playoffs or against a rival you record and watch later.

Highlights. If I'm too busy to watch, I'm too busy to watch. But if it's a playoff game, I don't miss it.

Well that's the reason for this poll! My argument is that more people agree with me...

Same could be said for a federal election. Who’s the better choice? Depends who you ask.

Who makes it in at the end of the day? The guy with more votes

For me it depends on the sport. For hockey I never record and watch late, and for that I would watch the highlights. I can't watch a game already knowing the outcome as it's ruined. For soccer, I avoid places online, record and watch later. But the saturation just isn't there to have a result spoiled like it is with hockey.

When I had more time, record and watch later.
Now, watch highlights and move on with my life.

Depends on what sport. If it's the BCS National Championship game I will record and watch later. Anything else will probabyy be highlights only.

I always attempt to record and watch later, though if I actually have time to watch it is another question. I find it hard to find the highlights of the game without actually learning the score beforehand.

PVR and start watching about one hour past start time.
By the time you watch all the action and skip all the commercials and intermissions, you're live with 5-10 minutes left. Win-Win, and hopefully your team wins too!
