Exactly.

As well, bedroom communities of single-detached homes at the edge of a wildlife preserve aren't great arguments for sustainable living.

India has a population density of 400/km2. Canada is 4/km2.

I'm down with your view on living, peter12. I love travelling to big cities and realizing how many things are available to do/see/enjoy within a walk, a short bike ride, or a short public transit ride. It's amazing.

But I also contradict that view myself, as I have a trailer and truck, and I enjoy being able to park my trailer at my house in my back yard. I also enjoy parking it in the middle of nowhere and camping for a week. If I had the budget to do so, I'd gladly live more central in a smaller townhouse near amenities and pay to store my truck and trailer somewhere.

And it is only because of our regressive way of zoning cities that this has become too expensive for you to do!

I don't think it will be too long for these to be made safer and commercially available.

In this case, as in many, technology won't be the issue, it will be properly regulating them.

I want technology that will allow the development of humans that can photosynthesize our own energy, limb regeneration and gills.

I don't ask for a lot.

I don't want anything revolutionary... Just faster evolution of autonomous cars, more sustainable and affordable electric cars, and a worldwide weather control grid.

Is it a far fetch to ask for some sort of technology that would stop people from killing people?

OK never mind, how about baseball sized nukes?
