Mostly raids. You do get a couple from various special research tasks, I don’t remember which ones.

Ugh. You are bringing up parts of the game play I forgot about, specific to your circumstances.
Tm's very rarely drop from raids under Lvl 5. I had not thought of that part when suggesting strategies for building up solo teams.

I appreciate all the tips and tricks you guys have. Its just a slow grind to get anything worth while, i evolved 3 eevee and got 3 flareon...its so annoying sometimes

have you already used all the name tricks? you can also get umbreon and espeon by walking an eevee 10km and evolving during day/night.

The walking thing with Eevee you can do numerous times
For anyone interested in PvP the Calgary group that meets to do monthly tournaments is meeting Sunday at 7:30 at Mac Hall by the Dairy Queen. This months Cup is Dark/Psychic/Fighting - under 1500 cp (Great League)

Am on vacation but still managed to get in an hour of community day and catching a decent number of Torchic. Only problem is I forgot about evolving it within the hour window post event.
Hopefully December is another return of community day pokemon/moves.

I can often get a km or so each way on my commutes. Have adventure sync on.
I still have never gotten to 50k though. Ive been at 27-40
|

I haven't tried it since adventure sync came in but there's a trick I used to use for distance.
- Open the game right after closing it
- Once the map fully loads minimize then game
- Start an 8 minute timer
- Drive around 1.3-1.5km from where you opened the game
- Once the 8 minute timer is up open the game again
Sometimes the trick would work sometimes it wouldn't. Worth a try though.
