Not with that rebounding and shot selection. Warriors will sweep them if they play like this.

Yeah, should be a 10-12 point lead. Not particularly good shooting and basically no offensive boards, while giving a couple of second chances on the defensive side. Golden State is shooting like garbage outside of Curry and that ain't gonna last. Once the rust shakes off the Raptors are really going to have to elevate their level of play. In the meantime they need to capitalize on opportunities better than this.

Pretty much my thoughts, in order.

Offense will come as the game wears on...for both teams. The layoff for both makes them a little rusty, Golden State more so.

BUT, I love the open looks the Raptors are getting compared to GS.
Warriors have to work for every shot at the moment, and none of them are easy. Keep that up and things look good for the Raptors, especially considering how little Kawhi has done so far and how he turns it up as the game goes on.

As fun as this is and as cool as it is to be up after one, they kind of screwed themselves. They had a chance to up by 10 or so, but made some mental mistakes, poor shot selection and poor rebounding.

Problem is this isn't your typical team where both teams will get better. The Raptors may get better, but the Warriors sucked and are barely down, and will undoubtedly hit god mode soon.

We likely needed more in the first to win this game. Still, anything can happen!

They have to watch out for the 3rd quarter. They were down 17points in 3 straight games against Portland and won all 3.

I'm fine with the lack of rebounds. Frankly they can't be perfect at everything, but fundamentally they're not playing with jitters, and are not taking stupid shots. They're driving and using the 3 as backup. All you can ask is they don't get suckered into GS's game.

Reffing's been pretty good but that missed kicked ball call just turned into a MINIMUM 3 point swing in the game, 5 or 6 if the Raptors would have scored on the possession.

Again, not faulting officiating on the whole in this game, but that is MASSIVE when you're playing a dynasty. Massive.

Need a strong finish. If the Warriors end up ahead at the half they likely aren't looking back.

Warriors with a ton of turnovers and shooting 35% or whatever, and it's still neck and neck.

Well that's the thing about GS. You can have a nice lead after the 1st half, but it doesn't really mean anything against the Warriors. They always flick that 'ON' switch in the 2nd half.

It does sound like amateur hour when it goes overboard with it. Once or twice a game, sure - but he's said it about 5 times so far.

Don't they usually have the championship trophy and "the finals" on the court for the final?
