What an absolutely ridiculous schedule. Why on earth wait 6 days and then multiple days in between. So unnecessary and stupid.
The 6 day rest was planned because game 1 is set for May 27. The NHL wants the teams to be well rested when they travel back and forth between Boston and St. Louis.
Monday, May 27 at Boston on CBC, Sportsnet, NBC, and TVA Sports
Wednesday, May 29 at Boston on CBC, Sportsnet, NBC, and TVA Sports
Saturday, June 1 at St. Louis on CBC, Sportsnet, NBCSN, and TVA Sports Monday, June 3 at St. Louis on CBC, Sportsnet, NBCSN, and TVA Sports
*Thursday, June 6 at Boston on CBC, Sportsnet, NBC, and TVA Sports
*Sunday, June 9 at St. Louis on CBC, Sportsnet, NBC, and TVA Sports *Wednesday, June 12 at Boston on CBC, Sportsnet, NBC, and TVA Sports
Blues: 45-28-9, 99 points (twelfth overall) Bruins: 49-24-9, 107 points (third overall) Regular-season series: Bruins won 1-0-1 (Blues 1-1-0) Games were on January 17 and February 23.
This will be the second time the Blues and Bruins meet in the Stanley Cup finals. The Bruins won 4-0 in 1970.
Always liked them, always had some great players like Shanahan, Oates, Pronger, McInnis, Gretzky, Hull, Tkachuk etc. Great logo, colours and uniforms!
They look solid, are hot like the sun. If Binnington keeps it up they can win it, on the other hand the Bruins are a great team and Bergeron isn’t even scoring...
Tough call, but the stats say the rested teams lose a lot more often and bruins swept the Columbus. Weird stat, but apparently it’s a lot better to come in to a series “in motion”.

Go blues!
I think they match up quite well. Should be a good series!

Cheering for the Blues here. Not sure who *will* win though, but I don't mind the match-up and can live with either outcome.
agreed.
seems to be pretty evenly matched teams. I'm going to go with the standard "will come down to goaltending"
I'd be shocked if the series didn't go at least 6 games.
