I guess we can look back on the burning of the Tarley’s as the TSN turning point.

I mentioned when this happened that she was going down the path of the Mad King. I had no idea that she was going THIS far down that path

I just happened to rewatch the Battle of Blackwater episode last night, so this made me laugh...
"I've never known bells to mean surrender." -- Ser Davos before the Battle of Blackwater (S2 E9)
----------
"If you hear the bells ring, they've surrendered." -- Tyrion (S8 E5)

I have no words. Everything single thing about that episode managed to disappoint me. I can’t think of a single positive thing to say. What a massive letdown.
I feel about as betrayed as Jon right now.

If I didn't know the episode had been shot months ago, I'd think Jon's line about starting the attack at daybreak was a direct response to all the complaints about how dark the Battle for Winterfell was.

No wonder Emilia Clarke was so disappointed with what they did with Dany. That was a WWE worthy heel turn.

I haven't seen the episode but perhaps its due to the wildfire caches that were hidden in the city by the Mad King?

It was theatrical eye candy start to finish.
The emotion was utterly palpable throughout. I was so swept up in it that I can't bring myself to pick it apart, at least not in the time since. I was leaning forward the entire time and probably hardly blinked.
The deaths were honestly quite good and true to the nature of the show which made me happy. I thought I wanted more dialogue but the spectacle of it all spoke far louder.
We finally saw the true wrath of dragons that 'melted steel and buildings' and conquered the kingdoms the first time around, and it was terrifying. I laughed at the golden company commander stumbling away to a cowardly death. That was actually hilarious in retrospect. As well as the lannister army response after cersei building them up.
The episode had everything.

They really should have visually shown groups of both still fighting at winterfell, if even struggling in the field towards the end of episode 3, to help the resurgence in numbers be a bit more believable. First real dothraki presence since their flaming wave charge..dudes came back from total extinction!
They did look overall less in number though lined up in front of the gates, as well as pretty marked up from the last battle.

Brilliant follow up to last weeks stinker. The deaths were realistic. Cleganebowl almost ending like the viper was great.
Dany flipped her switch to full Mad King after Missandeis death. Danaerys had the perfect opportunity to spare the commoners and only destroy the red keep. She didn't.
What Dany was told before by Tyrion makes a lot of sense. It was where he said she would be Queen of the Ashes without political power. And here we are.

They pretty much said in Episode 4 that around half of each of the Dothraki, Unsullied, Northmen, and Knights of the Vale survived the battle of Winterfell.

AltaGuy has a magnetic personality and exudes positive energy, which is infectious to those around him. He has an unparalleled ability to communicate with people, whether he is speaking to a room of three or an arena of 30,000.

I predicted everything - Varys, Evil Dany, Cleganebowl, and now Jon will kill Dany and take the black (again). Someone stupid gets the Iron Throne.
Euron fights Jamie... who cares?
So po’d that they turned my favourite show into a nonsensical, meaningless pile of poo.
But, hey, maybe I’ll feel differently tomorrow. It was nicely shot for the most part.

Oh I know. But showing even what looked like a third of the army would've helped, it looked like there was a couple dozen people left when the night king was marching towards bran.

Well Dany did say she was just going to break the wheel, but smash it. Those bells sent her for a loop.
Jon's in for a world of hurt now
And I really think Arya just sulks off into the sunset. I think The Hound just took all her hatred away in his goodbye talk to her. Or, she takes all the innocent lives she witnessed and kills Dany. One or the other.
Tyrion? No clue how his fate unravels. I'm sure it is death.
