Director David Nutter: “I think Euron, he’s not paying that much attention,” Nutter said, explaining that the scene was more about Tyrion appealing to Cersei’s softer side.
AKA Euron kind of forgot about the baby.
The baby which will be the heir to the iron throne? He just forgot about it?
Why wouldn't the director just roll with that one, instead of pointing out how bad the writing and Euron's acting is?
Tonight should be nearly as action packed as The Long Night episode was. Then we're heading for some denouement and hopefully some satisfaction as it concludes next week.

Timelines have always been confusing in this show. I gave up trying to reconcile timeline, fast travel and raven messaging a long time ago.
I just assumed that Euron wouldn't be fazed by Tyrion knowing about the pregnancy because the word got out. News travels fast in the GoT universe. It's just one of those things you learn to accept, otherwise the the show would be a whole lot of nothing for weeks, months and years as people and ravens traveled around.
But let's face it, it's normal when a series winds down that the writers need to take more liberties. I can't remember a series recently that didn't start to disappoint as it closed.
Still, I like the direction GoT has taken even if it is struggling with closure. I personally put it ahead of Breaking Bad, Dexter, Lost and True Blood so far when it comes to wrapping up. Of course, the last 2 episodes will count for a lot.

I don't know. The idea of a Dragon being killed by arrows fired from ships is annoying to me no matter how the scene is edited.
Dragons should be hard to kill. Something involving wildfire arrows, Euron having magic powers from the Drowned God, or a perfect shot hitting an already weakened dragon (the Hobbit solution) would have worked better for me.
Anyways bring on the penultimate episode!

I do hope tonight's ep honours earlier seasons by giving payoff to plot threads that have been going for longer than seasons 7/8. Some nods to earlier foreshadowing and prophecies would help with that, as well as making use of 3ER Bran and idle Daario. Hopefully shortcuts are minimal, and character decisions generally fall in line with their character arcs.
I think we've still yet to have our huge "twist" for the season too, as there was one hinted at by the showrunners. I can't think of anything that we've seen that would really qualify.

I haven't been overly critical and largely enjoyed things to this point, but that instance there is pretty bad writing... even a "dude bro" of the GOT universe such as Euron would have taken note of that and done some under the breath finger counting.
They showed his persistence in winning over Cersei by fetching an army and capturing the sand snakes. Why would he suddenly not care enough to notice?
I feel like the deaths this season should have been so much more impactful, yet I've felt so apathetic about the majority of the season. They've really dropped the ball.

I mean character deaths.
I feel much stronger about the thousands of incidents deaths than I do about
