The team that got the lucky 5 minute major to get them out of a jam vs Vegas might just win the cup, and the team that make the Flames look like an AHL team couldn't even make it to the conference final. 2 uncomfortable things to think about.

Sucks to be a Flames fan right now with all the promise of an amazing regular season.
Not unhappy Avs are out. They have a great young team and wow Makar is unbelievable to get tossed in like that. MacKinnon is one of the most talented players in the League but he is immature and a whiner. When things don’t go his way he makes his teammates and coach look bad (recall the episode here). I thought he might be the next Iginla the way he took it to us but he’s no Iggy not even close.

As expected, when facing bigger forwards, the Avs DMen looked mediocre at best. Zadorov used his size and reach and played a huge part in defeating the Flames, but the Sharks have no problems there.
