Regular-season series: Bruins won 2-1-0 (Hurricanes 1-1-1) Games were on March 5, December 23, and October 30.
TheRealPepman mentioned it in his post that this will be the fifth time the Hurricanes and Bruins meet in the playoffs. The Hurricanes won the last series 4-3 in the 2009 OT thriller.
I made a joke about Boston championships in the other thread and it got me thinking.
What’s the record for titles in a year? Boston could actively hold the title in 3 of the 4 major sports if the Bruins win. Could be as close to a Championship Grand Slam as we ever see. If they win of course.

Detroit had MLB, NHL and NFL in 1935. A bunch of cities have had two. Philly had four teams in the finals in 1980 but only won one.
Buck Foston. Marchand deserves to get hit by a truck, not get another trip to the SCF. Go Canes.
Either way, though, a bunch of jerks is winning this series...
