Daenerys reminds me a lot of Negan on TWD. She believes the ends justify the means, no matter how ugly they are. I don't see things ending well for her.

Think the corner cutting is getting a little out of control.
Half the unsullied survived? Half the DOTHRAKI???
And the surprise sniper ships was... yikes

One of the dragons had to die somehow. Having two dragons tips the scales too much in Jon/Daenerys' favour, so the show had to come up with some way to even the playing field. It's total BS but whatever, it's better than having a giant battle at the end where the dragons, who are perfectly capable of roasting everyone in a matter of minutes, don't melt the city.
I'm pretty excited at the prospect of one giant, final battle for the realm taking place on multiple fronts, where almost everyone dies.
My money is on Sansa somehow taking the iron throne (maybe with Tyrion?), Daenerys and Cersei both die a gruesome death at the hands of Varys, John moves back to Winterfell to be close to his drinking buddy Tormund, Bran goes with, and Arya feks off to Braavos to get her stab on.
Drogon takes off somewhere with a broken heart like a lost puppy dog never to be seen again.

Drogon's going to die too. Euron will make the one in a million shot and hit him right through the eye.

Yeah, I don't think Cersei is pregnant either.
I also don't really believe she cares much about the throne, more a "watch the world burn and murder my enemies" sort of mindset.
In the books, Cersei is extremely jealous of Daenarys throughout, and I think more than anything it's a hatred of Daenarys that's driving her now. She doesn't really care about ruling, she cares about dominating her enemies.
I don't expect that Cersei has any real plans of ruling, more destroying everything around her because she's in pain and feels she's already lost everything that matters.
My prediction is that Cersei and Daenarys fight to a standstill - which is unacceptable to both - and Tyrion is faced with the same choice his brother had to make with the Mad King. Kill Daenarys or allow her to destroy King's Landing rather than face the possibility of not having the throne.
Tyrion chooses to kill Daenarys, and let Cersei win. Everyone good who still lives goes north, or south, or west, and Cersei is left with King's Landing, no enemies left who are interested in the throne, and her feels.

I don’t necessarily agree that a dragon HAS to die to even the playing field somehow, but if that’s the case then how about it dies during the massive battle they just had where it got wounded
I think Varys gets roasted next episode. Melisandre told him he was going to die in Westeros and he is pretty clearly turning against Dany who had warned him before

Will the north follow Jon if they find out he isn’t Ned Stark’s son? A lot was made out of the idea that he had Ned Stark’s blood when they made him King of the North. Many of them were ready to ditch Jon for Sansa just because he was going south to do King stuff. They are a fickle bunch and pretty nationalistic.
It could be Sansa’s end game to make Jon lose support by spreading the news. She isn’t a little bird anymore after all and she admits that she learned a lot from Cersei. She started working on the Hound already too which gives her some protection. She wanted to be queen going all the way back to season 1.
I think she could be scheming.

I have nothing to back this up, just a hunch, but in the end Daenerys will kill Jon Snow with dragonglass, and since he's technically undead, he will become the new Night King, where he will conquer all.

Because it raises the stakes on whether on not we see the mad Queen coming soon.

I'm still sticking by this! Dragon in the singular now but he's going to have to choose between Stark or Targaryen.

That would be a crazy twist and I could definitely live with that.

He still has Stark blood in him. If anything learning the truth should make more of them follow Jon, since they could put one of their own on the throne to rule the entire kingdom, not just the north

Nope - but all the people who named their kids Daenerys or Khaleesi might!

He has some Stark blood, but lineage and inheritance is patriarchal. Being a Targaryen son probably carries more weight than being the son of a non-heir who married into a house outside of the north.
