It's why I think Monahan and Backlund could still be part of the solution for Calgary but shifted down to 2nd and 3rd line duty. Easier said than done but if winning a cup is the ultimate goal I don't think they are going to work as your top two centers.

Sportsnet is simulcasting the NBCSN feed for most of this series. The commentators are Kenny Albert, Kendall Coyne Schofield, and Pierre McGuire.

No one watching this?

High intensity game. Bouwmeester has been lights out all playoffs but he and Parayko had a bad period in the 1st.

Entertaining hockey though.

That's almost always the case. There are very few regular players in the NHL who aren't serviceable. It's all about were they are in the lineup. Look at all the players who succeed upon leaving the Oilers. Guys like Comeau and Chiasson come to mind as well.

I agree 100% with adding to the Flames 107 point regular season line up.

Bouw turns it over, then flamingos in front of Klingberg. 3-1 Dallas.

They just played Informer by Snow in Dallas. I don’t know why but that’s hilarious to me.

It has been a good game so far Klingberg's goal was a terrific wrist shot. Dallas leads 3-1 late in the second period.

McGuire is between the benches but isn't offering colour during play by play.

The Stars are opening this game up, 4-1 now. It was tic-tac-toe, Radulov to Benn, and then to Hintz.

Perron just slashes Bishop in the back behind the net, insane.

Kendall Coyne said "he sure did whack him between the trapezoid". I'm not sure if she was making a trapezius / trapezoid joke or not.

Honestly, that should be a lengthy suspension for Perron.

The refs calling nothing there essentially means that it should be impossible to get a slashing penalty for the rest of the game.

Kypreos is an idiot. "Binnington is doing it too"

Yeah Nick, after Benn sticks him in the junk. The Perron slash was absolute garbage.
