Spurs still have a chance, could have been worse than 0-1.

Nice first leg, hope Messi pulls off a show tomorrow in the other one.

Good result but Spurs have all to play for next week. Son back will be a huge boost for them.
Very dominating start for us against a scared Spurs team.
We lost control when Sissoko (of all people) was brought on.

Hope Vertonghen is ok. That looked very scary.

We have to stay away from 1 on 1 (physical) battles next week and we need a goal.

Man of the match for me is Donny van de Beek. He is so underrated but so valuable.

Extremely proud of the boys!

That 2nd or 3rd goal would been a killer for us for sure. Ajax was super comfortable and it’s an uphill battle for Spurs next week, obviously. Basically we need Son to be magic again and get a goal or two to get through. I feel like it’s at least possible.

You know things are thin though, when you bring on Juan Foyth and Ben Davies in hopes of getting level. We’re basically entirely out of options at this point.

The good news for Spurs is at least everyone has choked in the top four race so they can afford to play the U21s at Bournemouth on Saturday to rest guys. This tie would probably be over if they actually had to go for it.

I disagree. They have to win this weekend. We all know that if they don’t, regardless of what happens against Ajax, leaving top four for the final game is a recipe for disaster. Spursy and all that.

Iker Casillas is in hospital after apparently suffering a heart attack in training. Scary stuff.

I just read that. That is scary, especially when you're talking about Professional Athletes.

These guys are in amazing health and still vulnerable to heart attacks. Terrifying.

Interesting lineup for Liverpool, very much looks like a bus park is incoming.

Annnnd disaster for Liverpool. All that dominating of play, and then concede. Got a tough choice now, that away goal is vital but conceding another is probably tie over.

Wow

Salah., that would have been a massive away goal

Think tie is over unless they get one

The replay makes it even better. That's gotta be one of his very best free kicks which is saying something.

Funny thing is Liverpool have a chance at Anfield if they play like they did from about the 30 minute mark to the 70 minute mark, but obviously one Barca goal and it becomes impossible. Just very poor finishing from Liverpool, Salah not scoring there at the end is almost unforgivable considering how desperately they needed the away goal.

I can't get over that free kick. Perfection.

Liverpool certainly did not deserve to lose 3-0, but I'm not going to fake sympathy. Should have taken their chances.

That's a tough one to swallow. Pretty even game and end up down 3. A mountain to climb at Anfield next week now.

Alisson is almost there, but it's just placed perfectly. Can't do it any better. We've been spoiled watching both Messi and Ronaldo in their primes and beyond.
