Maybe a bad call but it’s on Eakin for putting the refs in the position to make that call.
There was no reason to chosscheck him that high in a face off, chest or head whatever. He just didn’t need to do it. I hate how so many players get the stick up when hitting or taking a hit. Eakin got burned on it.
I’m kind of glad it cost them

Thats kinda pathetic. At worst it would be 3-1 Vegas on a 2 minute cross checking penalty.

Give up 4 goals on a 5 minute major. Brutal PK'ing.
And then can't tie it up with their golden chances on the PP.

I went back and looked at it a few times amd Eakin gers a raw deal. He does shove him with a cross check, but its Statsnty engaging Pavelski off balance that inflicted the damage.
I feel bad for Eakin now.
