Also I'm not one of those people who automatically blame the coach when the team loses but Babcock is trash. Even you guys were questioning the lines he was rolling in the 3rd period I see. Saddling Nylander with two anchors. Playing Marleau so much. Giving Matthews 5 minutes of playing time in the 3rd period. The best player in this series for the Leafs. In Game 7 and he is limiting his playing time? Yeesh. He won't get fired but I pray he does. I hate his attitude. For example:

I think it goes back to the Ducks years actually. He felt Babcock buried him in that organization and then supposedly talked to Commodore personally when he was offered a one year deal saying he wanted him on the team only to never play him out of spite according to Commodore.

and back in Anaheim I think? in fact was wary after Anaheim so was reluctant to sign in Detroit, was given assurances he would the coach wanted him but apparently he didn't (of course this is the players side of the story)
